A-803467 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the TTX-resistant voltage-gated sodium channel Nav1.8 which is preferentially expressed on sensory neurons. IC50 for human Nav1.8=8.0 nM (140 nM for rat). It attenuates neuropathic and inflammatory pain in various animal models.
