Irreversible inhibitor of γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) ID50 = 0.54 mM. Inhibits the enzymatic conversion of leukotriene C4 to leukotriene D4. Displays antitumor and anti-metastatic activity. Blocks H. Pylori GGT-induced T-cell inhibition. Inhibits bioactivation/release of nitric oxide from GSNO.
