Potent inhibitor of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS; NOS II) in mouse macrophages. Potent and selective PARP inhibitor. Inhibits nitric oxide (SIN-1) induced PARP activation in rat hepatocytes (at 20µM). Neuroprotectant.
