IHC universal negative control reagent is specifically designed to work with rabbit, mouse and goat antibodies. The reagent has been titered to work with polymer-based secondary systems in manual and automated IHC platforms.

Scientific Background:Negative controls are used to determine the specificity of an antibody. No staining should be observed when the primary antibody is omitted. Minimal non-specific staining should be detected when using the IHC universal negative control reagent.
 
Technical Info/Product Notes:Interpretation of the results will be the sole responsibility of the user. Source is from purified goat, mouse and rabbit immunoglobulins (IgGs) and total IgG concentration is 1.5 ug/ml.
 
Protocol:Use IHC universal negative control reagent in place of the primary antibody with a section to evaluate non-specific staining and allow better interpretation of staining results.
