John O’Keefe (UCL), May Britt Moser (NTNU) and
Edvard Moser (NTNU) "
for their discoveries of cells that constitute a positioning system in the brain". This ‘inner GPS’ helps us know where we are, find our way from place to place and store the information for the next time.
