Inhibits lipoxygenases (ID50=3, 20 and 20µM for 5-, 12- and 15-LO respectively) selectively over cyclooxygenase (ID50=50µM) in whole cells. Also inhibits hepatic glutathione S-transferase and leukotriene C4 biosynthesis.
