A high-sensitivity colorimetric assay for the determination of the number of viable cells,using WST8, in cell proliferation and cytotoxicity assays. This critical assay can be used to screen modulators of cell proliferation that affect the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.
High-sensitivity Cell Proliferation Assay
CTLL-2 cells were incubated with various concentrations of IL-2 for 72 hours. CCK-8 solution was added to each well and the absorbance at 450nm was measured. IL-2 exposure resulted in increased,corrleating to an increase in cell proliferation.
