Enzo Life Sciences continues to expand its offering of products for Wnt pathway research with the addition of the Screen-Well™ Wnt Pathway Compound Library.
The Screen-Well™ Wnt Pathway Compound Library is a focused collection of Wnt pathway-modulating compounds for cell-based and biochemical applications. It provides a useful tool for studying activation or inhibition of the Wnt pathway in cells and for use in in vitro applications. A variety of structurally and mechanistically different compound classes are included.
The Wnt signaling pathway was first discovered as a critical part of normal embryonic development. The pathway spans the entire cell, from cell surface receptors, to cytoplasmic messengers and modulators, to nuclear transcription factors, and is now known to be involved in cancer, angiogenesis, stem cell regulation, neurodegenerative disease, cardiac hypertrophy, diabetes, osteogenesis and ageing.
The Screen-Well™ Wnt Pathway Compound Library contains 75 compounds with defined and diverse Wnt pathway activity, some of which are available only through Enzo Life Sciences. They include activators and inhibitors of Wnt family members, Dishevelled, GSK-3ß and other Wnt pathway kinases, TCF/ß-catenin, DKK, LRP, Axin, Porcupine, and more. To ensure high relevancy, each compound in the set was carefully chosen by Enzo’s experienced chemists and biochemists through an extensive and well-established data mining and literature search process.
Like other Screen-Well™ Compound Libraries, the Wnt Compound Library is supplied in biocompatible solvents, and no reconstitution is needed before use. For added convenience, individual compounds of the library are available for resupply.
