Scientific Background: | Carbonic anhydrase 9 catalyzes the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. It also participates in pH regulation. Carbonic anhydrase 9 may be involved in the control of cell proliferation and transformation. It also appears to be a novel specific biomarker for a cervical neoplasia. |
