Scientific Background: | Interferon regulatory factor 5 (IRF-5) is a member of IRF family, which plays a critical role in the regulation of genes induced by viral infection, immunostimulation and cell growth regulation. The expression of IRF-5 is limited to lymphoid organs, dendritic cells, and peripheral blood lymphocytes. Three IRFs (IRF-3, IRF-5, IRF-7) function as direct transducers of virus-mediated signaling and play a critical role in the expression of type I interferon genes and some chemokines. |

The cell lysate (40µg) was resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with
anti-human IRF-5 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1.: THP-1 cell lysate.
ICC/IF analysis of IRF-5 in Raw264.7 cells. The cell was stained with ENZ-ABS726 (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).
Flow cytometry analysis of IRF5 in THP-1 cells. The cell was stained at 2-5 µg for
1x106cells (red). A Goat anti mouse IgG (Alexa fluor 488) was used as the secondary antibody. Mouse monoclonal IgG was used as the isotype control (dark gray), cells without incubation with primary and secondary antibody was used as the negative control (light gray).
ICC/IF analysis of IRF-5 in THP-1 cells. The cell was stained with ATGA0518 (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).
