Scientific Background: | CD73 (Ecto-5-nucleotidase, 5-NT) is a membrane-bound glycoprotein that functions to hydrolyze extracellular nucleoside monophosphates enabling the uptake of adenosine, inosine, and guanosine into the cell and their subsequent reconversion into ATP and GTP. The expression of CD73 on neuronal cells has been described during developmental processes and, on lymphocytes, CD73 serves as a maturation marker, being absent from the surface of both immature B and T cells. |

Flow cytometry analysis of CD73 in A431 cells. The cell was stained with ENZ-ABS719 at 2-5µg for 1x106cells (red). A Goat anti mouse IgG (Alexa fluor 488) was used as the secondary antibody. Mouse monoclonal IgG was used as the isotype control (dark gray), cells without incubation with primary and secondary antibody was used as the negative control (light gray).
ICC/IF analysis of CD73 in HeLa cells. The cell was stained with ENZ-ABS719 (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).
The cell lysates (40µg) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human CD73 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1: HepG2 cell lysate. Lane 2: WiDr cell lysate. Lane 3: A431 cell lysate.
