The HPV 16 Probe Control Slide is used as a positive control for DNA in situ hybridization of HPV-16. The slide contains 2 wells of fixed CaSki cells which contain HPV 16 genomic DNA.
Product Specification
Quantity: | 2 wells of fixed CaSki cells |
|
Application Notes: | The HPV 16-infected cells on the control slides are CaSki cells, a human cell line that contains approximately ±350 copies of HPV 16 genomic DNA. These cultured cells display an extremely intense and unique distribution of positive signal. These control cells should be used only as a positive control in the testing for correct procedure. The specific intensity and type of signal found in these cells are not typical of the types of signals that are ordinarily observed in actual clinical specimens. This slide does not need to be deparaffinized or protease treated. |
