Colorimetric substrate for FAAH. FAAH recognizes a variety of fatty amide head groups and chain lengths. Hydrolysis of DepNA by FAAH or by other enzymes releases the yellow p-nitroaniline (ε=13,500, 410 nM) allowing for the rapid measurement of FAAH activity.
