A selective phosphodiesterase PDE III inhibitor, IC50=0.7µM. Siguazodan is a potent inotropic, vasodilator and antiplatelet agent with sustained duration of action. It synergizes with PDE IV inhibitors (roliprams) in blocking antigen-induced bronchospasm in the guinea pig.
