This peptide, EFGTYGTLSKKK, is derived from a peptide (pF4) discovered, through phage display, to be a very good substrate for Fyn kinase. Its Km is estimated to be 70 µM. The addition of three lysines on the C-terminus allows this peptide to be used in phosphocellulose kinase assays.
