DAPH abolishes or greatly reduces previously existing fully formed β-amyloid (1-42) fibrils and eliminates β-amyloid (1-42) peptide neurotoxicity. Also inhibits EGFR kinase. IC50 for inhibition of β-sheet content of aggregated β-amyloid (1-42) is 4.5µM.
