Synthetic peptides that irreversibly inhibit the activity of each of the caspase-family proteases. YVAD is the recognition sequence for caspase-1/ICE, VDVAD is the recognition sequence for caspase-2, DEVD is the recognition sequence for caspase-3/CPP32, WEHD is the recognition sequence for caspase-5, VEID is the recognition sequence for caspase-6/Mch2, IETD is the recognition sequence for caspase-8/FLICE, LEHD is the recognition sequence for caspase-9, and VAD is the recognition sequence for a caspase(s) that functions upstream of most other caspases.

Product Details

Recommended Dilutions/Conditions:We recommend using 1,000x dilutions for inhibiting caspase activity in Jurkat cell culture (e.g. add 1µl to 1ml of culture medium). Optimal doses may vary for different cells and culture conditions and must be determined individually.
