Specificity:Recognizes an epitope (aa 221-442) of human GAD65. Binds to human and rat pancreas tissue but not mouse pancreas tissue. Not detectable on Bouin-fixed pancreatic tissues. No binding to viable rat islet cells.
Crossreactivity:Does not cross-react with GAD67.
Applications:ICC, IHC (FS), IP
Application Notes:GAD-binding of this antibody is competitively inhibited by human GAD-antibodies.
Purity Detail:Ammonium sulphate precipitation.
