| Scientific Background: | Avian and mammalian PR isolated from tissue soluble extracts can exist in one of two different molecular forms A and B. Human PR consists of a 94kDa A form and a 120kDa B form. Chicken PR consists of a 78kDa A form and a 110kDa B form. Alpha PR6 reacts with both the 120kDa B form of human PR and the 110kDa B form of chicken PR. |
