Atpenin-related, specific inhibitor of complex II (succinate-ubiquinone oxidoreductase). Less potent than atpenins. Has antifungal, antibacterial and herbicidal activity. Inhibits the NADH-fumarate reductase activity of adult Ascaris suum mitochondria.
