Cell permeable modulator of actin-related protein 3 (Arp3). Inserts into the hydrophobic core of Arp3 and alters its conformation. Inhibits human and Bos taurus Arp2/3 complex, actin polymerization (IC50=11µM) and the formation of podosomes.Inhibits polymerization (IC50=31µM), stimulated by ActA, a comet tail formation inducer from Listeria monocytogenes.
