Figure 1: Detection of Adiponectin Receptor 1 (human) in HEK 293T transfected cells by the PAb to Adiponectin Receptor 1 (human) (AL238) (Prod. No. ALX-210-913).Method: 10µg per lane of total cell extracts from mock transfected HEK 293T cells (lanes 1 and 3) or HEK 293T cells transfected with an expression vector encoding the Flag-tagged human AdipoR1 (lanes 2 and 4) were run on a 12% SDS-PAGE gel and analyzed by Western blot. Lanes 1 and 2 were probed with an anti-FLAG antibody at a 1:2’000 dilution. Lanes 3 and 4 were probed with AL238 at a 1:1’000 dilution. After 1 hour of incubation at RT, the membrane was extensively washed and then incubated with goat anti-mouse horseradish peroxydase (Prod. No. APO-26G-050H) or a goat anti-rabbit horseradish peroxydase (Jackson, Prod. No. 111-035-144), respectively, for ECL detection. Note that the upper bands might represent oligomerized forms of the receptor.
