Scientific Background: | FLIP contains two death effector domains (DEDs) and a caspase-like domain. FLIP interacts with the adapter protein, FADD, and caspase-8 and –10, and potently inhibits apoptosis induced by death receptors CD95, DR3, TRAIL-R and TNFR1. |

Western blot analysis of FLIP (human), mAb (7F10) (Prod. No. ALX-804-961): Lane 1: MW marker, Lane 2&4: HeLa cell lysate, Lane 3&5: Jurkat cell lysate. The two membranes were blotted with 7F10 or NF6 clones at 2µg/ml separately. The result showed they detected very similar pattern in these cell lysates.
