Potent inhibitor of HIV type-I integrase and DNA topoisomerase II. Shows phytoestrogenic and cytotoxic properties against Hep62 cells.  Antagonist for platelet activating factor and Ca2+. Blocks the activation of Akt (protein kinase B; PKB) induced by glucose starvation.
