Midwest Regional Account Manager, USA
Reporting to the Director, U.S. Sales, you will be accountable for meeting revenue objectives within the Midwest territory, including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, and Kansas.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the Life Science research market and knowledge of accounts and contacts within the territory. You will be challenged to leverage your past experience to develop, grow, and maintain relationships with Enzo Life Science customers.
Specific duties include:
- Work with the Director, US Sales to develop sales plans and strategies.
- Call on industry and academic customers to present new products, solve problems, gather ideas for new products, and achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Set up and maintain customer files using salesforce.com and other databases.
- Regularly participate in tradeshow appearances in the territory and organize and conduct customer education seminars.
- Analyze sales reports to identify key users, under-performing accounts, and opportunities for complementary product sales.
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a life sciences related field; M.S. or Ph.D. desirable.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the life science reagent market.
- 2+ years of lab experience desirable.
- Highly organized, excellent record keeping skills, self-motivated, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record in proactively selling to key accounts and building a growing sales territory.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical ability, and attention to detail; proven ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Able to work independently with limited direction. 50% travel required.
