Scientific Background: | TLR7 is one of toll-like receptors which are type I transmembrane proteins involved in innate immunity by recognizing microbial conserved structures. These proteins are characterized by multiple copies of leucine rich repeats in the extracellular domain and IL-1 receptor motif in the cytoplasmic domain, and act through adaptor molecules such as MyD88 and TIRAP to activate various kinases and transcription factors. |

The recombinant protein (50ng) was resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human TLR7 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Lane 1.: Recombinant human TLR7 protein.
Flow cytometry analysis of TLR7 in THP-1 cells. The cell was stained at 2-5µg for 1x106 cells (red). A Goat anti mouse IgG (Alexa fluor 488) was used as the secondary antibody. Mouse monoclonal IgG was used as the isotype control (dark gray), cells without incubation with primary and secondary antibody was used as the negative control (light gray).
