Synergizers with Wnt3a to activate the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. Binds and inhibits GTPase activating protein of ADP-ribosylation factor 1 (ARFGAP1), thus activating ARF. It has also been suggested that a possible mechanism by which QS11 synergizes Wnt is through ARFGAP1 inhibition leading to increased β-catenin translocation via ARF activation.
