Source:Isolated from E. coli.
Formulation:Liquid. Turbid membrane suspension in 25 mM NaH2PO4, pH 7.0, 20% glycerol and 1 mM DTT
Purity Detail:Partially purified by centrifugation
Activity:pH optimum 6.3-8.3.
Application Notes:Specific for sn-1,2 isomer of DAG but will phosphorylate ceramide and monoglycerol at a lower rate.  May be used to quantify diacylglycerol in crude lipid extracts.

Long Term Storage:-80°C
Use/Stability:When stored under the above conditions, this enzyme is stable at the concentration supplied, in its current storage buffer. Procedures such as dilution of the enzyme followed by refreezing, could lead to loss of activity.
Handling:Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After opening, prepare aliquots and store at -80°C.
