FAT10 is a TNFα- and IFNγ-inducible ubiquitin-like protein demonstrated to form protein conjugates that are rapidly degraded by the proteasome. FAT10 interacts with NEDD8 ultimate buster-1L (NUB1L), which may link FAT10 to the proteasome through binding to RPN10.
