U-46619 is a Prostaglandin H2/thromboxane A2 analog and a potent thromboxane A2 receptor (TP) agonist (EC50 = 0.035µM). U-46619 induces platelet shape change and aggregation at 32nM. U-46619 also activates p38 MAPK.
