Replaces Prod. #: ALX-550-222
Cytochrome P-450 inhibitor. Inhibits cytochrome P-450-dependent arachidonate metabolism (90% at 50 µM). Calcium antagonist. Blocks glibenclamide-sensitive K+ channels (IC50=4.4mM). Inhibits platelet thromboxane synthesis and stimulates endothelial cell prostacyclin production. Potentiates the effects of many drugs in vivo.
