The SCREEN-WELL® REDOX library contains 83 compounds with defined prooxidant or antioxidant activity. Compounds are dissolved in DMSO at 10mM and aliquoted into deep-well plates at 100 or 500µl per well.A variety of structurally and mechanistically different compound classes are included such as hydroperoxides, polyphenolics, metal chelators, thiols, thiol traps, radical scavengers, lazaroids and glutathione modulators as well as small molecule enzyme mimetics for SOD and glutathione peroxidase. The library is a useful tool for studying the roles of pro- and antioxidant molecules in cells as well as for use in in vitro applications.
