Product Details

Clone:4A9

Host:Mouse

Isotype:IgM

Immunogen:Phosphoserine containing peptides conjugated to KLH.

Species reactivity:Species independent

Specificity:Recognizes a broad range of serine-phosphorylated proteins in crude cell extracts, interacting with phosphoserine surrounded by positive or neutral aa (e.g. substrates of PKA, PKB, PKC, PKG etc.). Please note that phosphoserine detection by MAbs always depends on the surrounding aa sequence.

Applications:ELISA, IP, WB

Recommended Dilutions/Conditions:Western Blot (1µg/ml for HRPO/ECL detection; recommended blocking buffer BPPT: 2x PBS 3% (w/v) BSA, 1% (w/v) PEG 4,000, 1% (w/v) polyvinylpyrrolidone, 0.1% (v/v) Tween 20. Do not use milk/casein for blocking and dilution! Replace by BSA!)
Suggested dilutions/conditions may not be available for all applications.
Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.

Positive Control:Included. (Prod. No. 840-012-1)

Purity Detail:Thiophilic adsorption and size exclusion chromatography purified.

Formulation:Lyophilized from 1ml of 2x PBS containing 0.09% sodium azide, PEG, and sucrose.

Reconstitution:Reconstitute with 1ml water (15 minutes at room temperature).
