Scientific Background:ZUD is cytoplasmic protein with a ZU5 and death domain. It interacts with the NF-κB subunit p105 and transactivator p65 and inhibits NF-κB -dependent transcription when its overexpressed. ZUD seems to be a inhibitor of NF-κB signalling, and enhance cell death to apoptotic stimuli like TNF and TRAIL.
