Miscellaneous/General:	Bcl-X has two isoforms, resulting from alternative splicing: Bcl-X_L (long) is a 241 aa protein (27kD) and Bcl-X_S is a 178 aa protein with predicted molecular weight of ~19.5kD. Although the peptide immunogen is identical in Bcl-X_L and Bcl-X_S, this antibody detects only Bcl-X_L in Western blot analysis.
