Figure 2: The effect of mouse adiponectin(globular)-His on the phosphorylation of acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) in C2C12 cells. Method: C2C12 myocytes were treated with 3µg/ml of the recombinant proteins for 15 min. after serum starvation for 24 hours. 100µg per well of total cell lysate were separated on reduced SDS-PAGE gels. Immunoblot analysis was performed to measure phosphorylation of ACC with anti-phospho-ACC antibody. Lane 1: 3µg/ml of mouse adiponectin(globular)-His (Prod. No. ALX-201-306), Lane 2: 3µg/ml of a His tagged control protein, Lane 3: Same volume of phosphate-buffered saline as that of the recombinant proteins.
