Formulation:	Liquid. In SDS-PAGE sample buffer, pH 8.8, containing 40mM TRIS-HCl, 1% SDS, 50mM DTT, 7.5% glycerol, and 0.003% Bromophenol Blue.

Source/Host:	Mouse brain extract.

Application:	Western Blot (control, 2mg/ml, 20μg/lane) Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.

Miscellaneous/General:	Brains from Swiss Webster mice, mixed gender, were suspended in MPER, Mammalian Protein Extraction Reagent (Pierce catalog# 78501), with a protease inhibitor cocktail and homogenized using a Dounce tissue grinder. The tissue lysate was adjusted to 2mg/mL in SDS PAGE sample buffer (40 mM Tris-HCl pH 6.8, 1% SDS, 50 mM DTT, 7.5% glycerol, 0.003% bromophenol blue) and heated for 10 min at 70°C.
