Miscellaneous/General:	Apoptotic cell death signals are transduced by death domain (DD), death effector domain (DED), and caspase recruitment domain (CARD) containing molecules. CARD-9 interacts with the CARD activation domain of BCL-10, a pro-apoptotic activator of NF-kappaB. CARD-9 is thought to act as a scaffold for the assembly of BCL10 signaling complexes associated with the activation of NF-kappaB.
